Woodlands 4-H
Woodlands is a very large and active club and has been part of the Langley 4-H District for over 30 years.
We offer a wide variety of projects including but not limited to: Dog, Rabbit, Sheep, Cavy, Gardening, Junior Leader, and Cloverbuds.
Our members participate in public speaking, demonstrations, speak and shows, educational displays, and judging competitions, with opportunities to move on to district, regional and provincial competitions.
Our club is active within the community, attending local events and promoting 4-H at summer fairs and exhibitions.
Throughout the year, members learn about and train their projects in preparation for showmanship and project competitions at fairs and the club’s Achievement Day.
We usually attend Maple Ridge Fair, Chilliwack Fair, and the PNE but are always open to more fairs and more fun!
Our club also holds a number of fun, social activities throughout the year to promote teamwork, friendship, and camaraderie.
Monthly business meetings are the 1st Monday of every month, except for July and August.
Project training sessions and husbandry training sessions are each held once or twice a month from January to June on Saturday mornings and some weekday evenings.
