Otter Llama 4-H

The Otter Llama Club began in 1993 as part of the Langley district.

We meet monthly between January and June to conduct business, have speech and demonstration competitions, and to plan fund raising and other events. We also meet every second weekend between January and May to work on training our animals in Showmanship, Obstacle and Public Relations courses, as well as judging.

In May and June we will take our animals on hikes to give them some practical trail experience. During the summer we compete at events at the Maple Ridge Fair, Chilliwack Exhibition and the Pacific National Exhibition.

We wind up the year with an achievement day in September and an awards night near the end of October.
